About Us - Little Ripper Gold Inc.

The idea for Little Ripper Gold Inc. was conceived by a couple of fellow prospectors who decided to form a club, where members could have access to gold leases that they could legally attend, without the need for lodging Section 40E permits or worrying about where to find areas to prospect on.

We wanted a safe place for people to detect and be able to camp all year round. As far as we know there is nothing like this in Australia or the world.The membership fees pay for new leases and the upkeep of those leases, along with administration costs incurring in running the club.

COMMITTEE

Little Ripper Gold Inc is run by a 5 person volunteer executive committee, made up of a Chairperson, a Vice Chairperson, a Secretary, a Treasurer and a Tenement Manager.
There is also a 6 person volunteer working committee. All committee members are elected officials from LRG's members and all positions are held for a 12 month term. Nominations for each committee position will be called for, before each Annual General Meeting.

HOW IT WORKS

Potential members complete a Membership Application Form and if accepted, an annual membership fee is collected.
The current annual membership fees range from $25 to $100, depending on the class of membership. Full members are entitled to prospect on all Little Ripper Gold Inc. leases throughout the year.

All financial members have access to the Little Ripper Gold Inc. Facebook group; a Private group where they can interact with other members to discuss all things gold, prospecting, camping, etc.

Members who are new to prospecting, also have access to experienced prospectors who will freely answer all your questions, in a safe and friendly online environment.

All members agree to abide by the club's Code of Conduct, Constitution, Indemnity Waiver when attending the leases, as well as the group rules associated with the Little Ripper Gold Inc's Facebook group.

Little Ripper Gold Inc. would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we camp and prospect, and pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging. We extend that respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples who are members of Little Ripper Gold Inc.
